EarthViewMaps (“EarthViewMaps”, "we" or "us") created the EarthViewMaps extension ("Extension") to allow our users to access interactive maps, navigation, traffic alerts, and suggested destinations directly from their browser. The Site, Extension and any related features, services, functions or content we provide shall be referred to collectively as "Services". Our Terms (“Terms”) and this Privacy Policy govern your use of the Services.
Anyone who accesses and/or uses our Services is subject to this Privacy Policy. This policy describes the type of information that EarthViewMaps collects, how information is used, with whom information is shared and to what extent information can be associated with an individual user. This information may be personally identifiable ("PII") (for example, your name or email address) and non-personally identifiable (for example, your IP Address and browser type). We may use or share this information to third parties in certain instances in order to display third-party links, features and materials (collectively, “Third-Party Materials”) to you.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time in our sole discretion. You can find out when this Privacy Policy was last updated by checking the date at the bottom of this page.
What Information is Collected?
When you email EarthViewMaps at for issues or questions related to the Services, you may, but are not required to, submit PII. For example, you may send your name, email address, and other relevant information. EarthViewMaps collects this information in order to enable us to respond to your issues and questions and communicate with you more effectively. When you use our Service, we collect other information, such as your IP Address, browser type, operating system, unique identifier number and browsing information. Such information is stored and used to enable us to provide our Services to you, such as displaying Third-Party Materials and maintaining and improving the Site and Extension, and such information may be combined with information we receive from third parties.
Our Services are not intended for use by children under eighteen years old. If EarthViewMaps discovers that it has collected any PII from a user under eighteen years old, EarthViewMaps will terminate that user’s access to the Service and any information collected from that user will be deleted from our systems immediately.
How is the Information Collected?
When you use our Service, EarthViewMaps also collects information about you using browser cookies, flash cookies, storage data, web beacons, JavaScript, pixels and other tracking technologies. In order for us to optimize our Services and provide Third-Party Materials, we may collect information such as browser type, browsing history and other performance data.
Third parties may also collect similar usage information about you by using tracking technologies described herein. EarthViewMaps does not control these third parties and as such, any collection by such third parties is governed by those third parties’ privacy policies.
By default, most Internet browsers accept cookies. You can update your browser settings to block all cookies. Please be aware though that by updating certain browser settings, the Services may not perform as intended.
How is the Information Used and Shared?
We may use the information we collect about you in one or more of the following ways:
To provide and manage the Services, including to develop and optimize our Services, provide relevant Third-Party Materials, and for customer support. We may use information about your use of the Services in an aggregated and/or anonymous form to assist us here.
To deliver Third-Party Materials. In order to provide our Services for free, we are supported by Third-Party Materials that are delivered to you when you browse online. Third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about you, such as demographic information, aggregated information, and Internet activity, to deliver Third-Party Materials. Please be aware that EarthViewMaps does not control Third-Party Materials and as such, EarthViewMaps is not responsible nor liable for your use and/or access of such Third-Party Materials. The fact that EarthViewMaps displays Third-Party Materials via the Site and Extension does not imply that EarthViewMaps endorses or is affiliated with such Third-Party Materials.
To share with third-party service providers and contractors to enable them to help us in providing and managing the Services. For example, we use third-party service providers and contractors to store and analyze information, to host our Services, and to provide customer service. These third-party service providers will only have access to your information on an as-needed basis to perform their functions, must protect your information, and may not use your information for any purpose other than for the service they are providing to EarthViewMaps.
To protect our rights and the rights of our users. EarthViewMaps may use or share your information if it has a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary: (1) to protect the safety and security of members of the public, including users of the Services; (2) to protect or defend EarthViewMaps’s legal rights, including those of our employees, agents, contractors, and related companies; (3) for fraud prevention or risk management purposes; or (4) to comply with legal procedures.
To transfer as part of a business transaction. If EarthViewMaps sells all or part of its business, makes a sale or transfer of its assets, or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of its business to another business, EarthViewMaps may transfer the information as part of that transaction.
How is the Information Protected?
EarthViewMaps uses generally accepted industry-standard security measures to protect the information we collect both during transmission and upon receipt. However, no security measure can ever be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As such, while we will use commercially acceptable and industry-standard measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have concerns, please uninstall our Extension and stop using or accessing our Services.
What Rights do I have as a California Resident?
California privacy laws permit California residents to send requests to businesses regarding the information that business collects about them. This includes requests to (1) receive access to the information the business has collected about such residents, (2) receive a summary of the categories of information the business has collected or disclosed about such residents, and (3) delete information the business has collected about such residents. Businesses also may not discriminate against California residents for exercising their rights.
If you would like to exercise these rights with EarthViewMaps, you can submit your request here. You must have our Extension installed in order to submit a request and you must provide us with the information required at the link in order for us to verify your identity before we can begin your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf by providing EarthViewMaps with your authorization for such agent in writing.
There are instances, under appliable law, where EarthViewMaps may be exempt from responding to your request. We will notify you in these instances. Reasons may include situations where we cannot locate your information because we have already deleted such information in accordance with our standard business practices or where your identity could not be verified.
California privacy laws also permit California residents to opt out of the sale of their personal information. If you would like to exercise this right, you can submit a request here or uninstall our Extension. We manage your opt-out preference through cookies, so if you delete your cookies, you must submit another request at the link above to opt out again.
